We went to Cali to find a place to rent. Turns out finding a decent affordable house to rent is much harder than we anticipated. Places in the LA area are either crazy expensive or in the ghetto. So we failed at signing a lease agreement this week but we totally succeeded in the fun activities department. We went to the gentle barn. A place where you get to learn about and interact with rescued animals.
We went to Santa Monica Beach.
We went to Underwood Family Farms. Lots of fun things to play on and fields of locally grown produce to pick!
The kids played in the sprinklers.
We hung out with Grandma.
Kate turned 6. We already celebrated back in Vegas but Grandma wasn't there so she made Kate a fruit pizza and we celebrated again.
The kids loved hiking and exploring. If you look close you can see them all the way on top of the mountain.
Hopefully we'll have better luck next time in our house hunt. If not we might end up living in the club house on the hill.
