Don't Ever Grow Up

A friend of mine came into town to go wedding dress shopping. I thought it would be fun to take Kate along on such a girlie outing. I love spending time alone with her she is so much fun to be around.

Seeing her with the veil on was cute but it made me realize she will get married someday and no longer be mine. I bet I will be a big cry baby on her big day. I wish I could keep her this little forever. Freeze her in time as her perfect 3 year old self. Where life is just fun and carefree and I can easily protect her from danger and heartbreak. I know this is not possible but I hope she doesn't grow up too fast and enjoys the simplicity and innocence of childhood. Enjoy your journey Kate and take your time, you will you have the rest of your life to be old.
Frozen yogurt one of our favorite treats and a definate must when we are having a girls day out.

Finally

At the ripe old age of 9 months Jason has finally gotten his first tooth! Good job Jason it's about time. Grow a couple more and you can start eating real food.

Pumpkin Patch

Good times were had by all at the pumpkin patch this year. The big slide was the crowd favorite and luckily the cheapest also! Luke could really climb up to the top fast. Some lady said to me, "that baby has sticky feet and sticky hands, look at him go he is like spider baby."
Steve & Luke about to slide down
Kate loved the swings, Luke was too scared to try so he waved to Kate from the sideline.
The kids had fun on this ride for a while but Luke started freaking out so they had to stop the ride early to let the poor little guy off. He doesn't enjoy the thrill of the ride like Kate.
Petting Zoo fun
YAY! We love this time of year. The weather is beautiful and there is so much fun stuff to do.

Renaissance Fair

We went to the Renaissance Fair this year. It was a very interesting experience. There were SO many people there and most of them really took this experience seriously. They really get into character. I was in total shock. When we were leaving I realized it would be unacceptable to not have any photo documentation. So I got my camera out and snapped a few pics. I feel compelled to post them for your personal viewing pleasure. Enjoy!

Luke is 2!

A little bit about Luke at 2
He is scrawny he only weighs 22lbs and most of his clothes are size 12 month.
He is still madly in love with Jason!
He loves to help.
He can play catch for hours and he is actually pretty good at throwing the ball we are working on the catching part.
He has a wicked sweet tooth. He loves sugar and soda.
He squints his eyes when he smiles it always makes me laugh.
He sleeps in a big boy bed.
He really enjoys rough housing.
He is a seroius snuggler.
He has a temper.
He hates nursery. Last time we dropped him off he cried so hard he puked on the teacher.
He wants to do whatever Kate is doing including painting his toes and wearing tinkerbell panties.
He loves being outside.
He is very afraid of bugs.
He loves tools. Hammers and drills are his favorite.
He loves climbing up on the sofa and watching the train that goes by our house.
He is absolutely hilarious and keeps us laughing.
