Don't Ever Grow Up

A friend of mine came into town to go wedding dress shopping. I thought it would be fun to take Kate along on such a girlie outing. I love spending time alone with her she is so much fun to be around.

Seeing her with the veil on was cute but it made me realize she will get married someday and no longer be mine. I bet I will be a big cry baby on her big day. I wish I could keep her this little forever. Freeze her in time as her perfect 3 year old self. Where life is just fun and carefree and I can easily protect her from danger and heartbreak. I know this is not possible but I hope she doesn't grow up too fast and enjoys the simplicity and innocence of childhood. Enjoy your journey Kate and take your time, you will you have the rest of your life to be old.
