The Promise Land
When we were reading scriptures the other morning we asked the kids if they knew where the Promise Land is. Kate confidently replied "it's across the ocean." We then excitedly explained that the Promise Land is where we live and how blessed we are to be here. She looked a little confused and then replied, "Well it's not very pretty here and it's so hot outside." It really made me laugh.
