I am hanging up my stethoscope for now, possibly forever. I've worked in the ICU for the past 8 years and I've seen some seriously crazy things and have learned so much. I'm so grateful for my education and the ability to provide for my family when they needed me to. We have 5 kids now and life is so busy and I'm ready and excited to stay at home full time. I will miss some things about working at the hospital. I enjoyed taking care of really sick patients. I definately won't miss working all night and feeling tired all day. I hope to someday be involved in the healthcare field again. I would love to participate in medical missions and volunteer work, someday. But for now my heart and time belongs to my family and raising my little ones. It is an intense amount of work taking care of my crew and I feel truly blessed to have the opportunity to do it full time.
