I made an Eggo waffle for Luke and started cutting it up. I got 1/2 way through cutting it and Luke starting freaking out that he wanted to cut it. I apologized and slid the plate over to him and gave him a butter knife. He was so mad that it was already partly cut and insisted I put it back together. I explained once it's cut that's it there is no putting it back together. He was not okay with this answer. I squished them back together and said okay now cut it up this was not okay either. He was getting more and more upset and really crying by this point. Steve suggested we tape it back together and Luke thought that sounded like a good solution. So he stood at the table and patiently waited while Steve hunted down some tape. Steve found some tape and taped up the waffle for a split second Luke was so happy. He picked up the knife to cut up his taped waffle. Steve and me were laughing so hard by this point. Then when the knife didn't cut through the tape Luke peeled off the tape and started crying again because now his waffle was all yucky. Kids they're crazy. Especially Luke! But we love him and all the craziness that he brings with him.
